Us Centennial Animal Hospital is an AAHA-Accredited hospital located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We are committed to you and your pets, and understand the valued place that they hold in your life. The AAHA Standards of Accreditation are widely used as benchmarks to measure excellence in veterinary medicine. Centennial has been successfully evaluated by an outside consultant on over 800 standards that directly correlate to the care that we provide. What this means to you is that you can rest assured that we have the staff, equipment, procedures and facilities that are important for the delivery of high quality veterinary care. Mission Statement: "We strive to provide excellence in companion animal wellness, medicine and surgery for our patients and clients in a caring, compassionate way." It is our goal to be caring and compassionate toward both our clients and patients. We strive to provide the best medical and surgical treatment possible. Our hospital is AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) accredited, which means that we are in accordance with the highest standards available for small animal veterinary practice. We offer a number of special services including working in conjunction with the National Research Council's Institute of Biodiagnostics to provide MRI services to all practices in Manitoba on a referral basis. |
| Centennial has created a unique family environment
where your loved
ones are
treated as well as our own. All guests are given individual care and
attention. Dogs are walked in our fenced yard up to four times daily.
Don't be surprised to see one of our Kennel Technicians throwing a
Frisbee, balls, giving cuddles or kisses. Your dogs, cats and other "Critters" are each given individual attention. Also, don't be surprised when you come to visit and you see a couple of our four legged friends outside of their kennels visiting because that is just part of our unique family environment that we have created and are very proud of! Vaccination Requirements For the protection of your pet and other boarders, we require current immunizations against the following contagious diseases: Dogs: Distemper, parvovirus, rabies, bordetella (kennel cough) Cats: Distemper, rabies Medical Treatment Our kennel is veterinary supervised. Should medical attention be required, we will be happy to see that it is provided. Any animal under our care requiring medication, excluding insulin injections, can be accommodated.
