Blanche

DSH|female|brown tabby|born 8 Sept, 2018
Blanche is friendly, likes other cats and enjoys spending time with kids. She also enjoys turning into a kitty loaf right behind you so you can try to move and trip over her. She loves to be picked up, cuddled and will spend quality snuggle time.

Esther

DSH|female|brown/white tabby|born 8 Sept, 2018
Esther is friendly, likes other cats and has experience with children. She’s independent but enjoys being with people and getting petted. She can usually be found on the back of the couch while you Netflix. Always gets the zoomies every night with her mouse toy!

Theodore

DSH|male|brown/white tabby|born 8 Sept, 2018
Theodore is friendly, likes kids and also other cats. LOVES food, no matter who it belongs to. If you sit down for any reason, he’s hopping into your lap for a snuggly nap. Be ready to defend your dinner plate and your heart from this cutie.

Stella

❤️All I want for Christmas… is a family to call my own!❤️
Stella is a 10 week old, female, shepherd mix, looking for her forever home! She’s full of personality and full of love that she just can’t wait to share with her new family. Her foster family has been working on house training, basic training and socializing, and her future family would need to be able to continue on with these!

She also lives with three cats so she has some familiarity with them but she’s still learning how to play and interact with them. She loves to play with her toys and to fetch them, and then cuddle up at your feet (or on your chest) for some well-earned rest. She’s well adjusted to a kennel already, as she sleeps in one overnight with no complaints or accidents.

Call D’Arcy’s Arc at (204) 888-2266 or Centennial Animal Hospital at (204) 269-8162 to arrange a meet and greet! Let’s find Stella her furever family ❤️

How to help injured and orphaned wild animals

Below are a few suggestions should you come across injured or orphaned wildlife.  First, you need to determine if the wild animal is indeed injured or abandoned without putting yourself in harm’s way. Try not to have too much contact with the animal or to disturb the surroundings. If you are unsure, it is best that you leave it be and call a wildlife specialist to notify them about the animal and its location. Certain animals like rabbits and deer often leave their young alone for long periods throughout the day. If it appears healthy and well, do not disturb the animal.
